No, with the right instruction, you can progress safely and quickly. We have lots of people taking lessons who have no watersports experience.

We offer kitesurfing, wingfoiling, SUP, kids’ camps, school tours, corporate outings and more. Each activity is led by qualified instructors and tailored to suit the group.

Kitesurfing

Is kitesurfing easy to learn?

With good instruction, most people enjoy an incredibly fast learning curve. Without instruction, trying to learn kiteboarding can be frustrating and it’s also far safer to have a skilled instructor teach you.

All senior instructors are certified by the International Kitesurfing Organization (IKO), by the British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA)  or the Irish Kitesurfing Association (IKSA). All our senior instructors are also qualified first aiders.

A basic level of fitness is all you need as our equipment can be adjusted to suit a broad range of physical abilities.

We follow the International Kitesurfing Organization programme which is sectioned into skill levels 1, 2 and 3. However, we have our own magic recipes and our goal is to teach you everything you should need to know/ to do before flying on your own. We have been teaching in Ireland since 2006.

Unless there is a strange weather pattern, we run our lessons from March till November. When it gets cold we recommend Land based lessons or private water based ones.

Generally speaking a lesson is 3hrs if with another student or 2hrs if 1on1. Private lessons can be booked and a full course comprises of 4 sessions, though this does not mean you cannot book further lessons if you do not feel confident at this stage.

Wind permitting, yes, with a session on the morning followed by lunch and then back to the water for the afternoon!! This is the Fast n Furious way! Time is love!

For the first hour (land based) we advise you wear comfortable clothes and footwear. For the water based lessons we provide wetsuits if you need one. Bring sunscreen also.

All our water based lessons are conducted on Dollymount Beach or Sutton Beach, both world class Kitesurfing spots…But Silence! nobody knows but you…and us!

No,  all our students are covered by indemnity insurance during the lesson.

Wingfoiling

Is wingfoiling easy to learn?

Yes! Most people experience a fast learning curve with good instruction. Beginners without wind or board background are welcome—and you don’t need to be a kitesurfer or windsurfer to start

No! Do not Worry. You do not need any background to learn this sport, only the ability to swim… and a big Smile! Of course a kiter or windsurfer will get it much quicker than someone who never used the wind but the progression will be adapted to your background. We usually recommend a SUP-Wing Session as intro and then Lets go on the foil and this becomes the real deal! We also have foils or Boats with mast to practice the Foil part! Everyone can wing!

Nope! A basic level of fitness and comfort in the water is enough. Wingsurfing is low-impact and easier on the body than many other wind sports—great for all ages and fitness levels.

We teach Wingfoiling in Dun Laoghaire, Salthill Beach in collaboration with our friends from INSS.
Accessible via Dart and close by the city centre, we have access to the best Spot in town, and we teach from boat Zoom zoom!

Light to moderate steady winds and flat water are ideal, but we make the most of many conditions with all our equipment.

SUP

Is Stand Up Paddle Boarding easy to learn?

Paddle boarding is very easy to learn and within one hour of tuition, you can become very comfortable in the water and on your board.

Yes, people of almost any age can learn SUP. It’s one of the most accessible and beginner-friendly watersports out there.

We provide wetsuits if you need one..We’ll provide the board and the paddle! Bring sunscreen

Unless there is a strange weather pattern, we run our lessons from March till November.

Summer Camp

What do kids need to bring to camp?

Kids should bring swimwear, a wetsuit and life jacket, a towel, warm clothes for after, sunscreen, water, shoes (old runners are perfect), and a refillable water bottle. We’ll provide with boards, paddles and fun!

Our summer camps take place in Howth.

The camp runs for two hours per day over four consecutive days.

Basic water confidence is recommended, but they don’t need to be strong swimmers. All participants wear buoyancy aids, and our instructors are always close by.

Yes! All our instructors are fully certified, experienced, and trained in water safety and working with children. Safety and fun are always top priorities.
