Dublin is home to Dollymount Beach which is an exceptional spot for kitesurfing, windsurfing and Stand-Up Paddle Boarding because of the safe conditions it provides. The beach lies in the unique Unesco Biosphere of Bull Island and stretches 4 km long. The waters around are used by local sailing and swimming clubs, and include a bird sanctuary for many local and migrating species, the Brent geese from the arctic for example. We encourage all who use the beach for watersports to respect the needs of all beech users, human and animal and to ensure they leave no trace when they come to the beach.
